ALPSA is running three annual award programs in 2001: Best Graduate Paper in Political Science, Best Undergraduate Paper in Political Science, and Best Paper in Albanian Affairs.

BEST GRADUATE PAPER IN POLITICAL SCIENCE

The recepient of the award will receive US$350. The program is open to all graduate students studying in Albanian-language institutions, and students of Albanian heritage studying in an accredited university anywhere in the world. Papers can be in English or Albanian and on any topic in political science or related disciplines.

BEST UNDERGRADUATE PAPER IN POLITICAL SCIENCE

The recepient of the award will receive US$250. The program is open to all undergraduate students studying in Albanian-language institutions, and students of Albanian heritage studying in an accredited university anywhere in the world. Papers can be in English or Albanian and on any topic in political science or related disciplines.

BEST PAPER IN ALBANIAN AFFAIRS

The recepient of the award will receive US$250. The program is open for everyone who has written a paper dealing with Albanian Affairs -- any paper that discusses developments in Albania, Kosova, Macedonia, or Albanian communities worldwide. Papers can be in English or Albanian.
